Dr. Wazir Agha is one of leading critics of Urdu literature. He has provided excellent example of practical criticism from classical literature to modern literature. His great work is ‘IMTZAJI TANQEED’ and ‘TAKHLIQI AMAL’. This article focuses on his ideological critique, Especially text, creation, reader and process of reading. According to Wazir Agha, the reader reads the text and the text reads the reader. The reader is equally involved in the creative process. Text makes sense when read. The status of the reader, process of reading and what is text authority, these topic are included in this article. This article introduces new dimensions to Wazir Agha’s ideas.
